  • 1 can (16oz) whole berry cranberry sauce

  • 2/3 cup chopped Pecans or Walnuts

  • Also Needed:
  • 1 (5 1/4 oz.) pkg. Melba Toast
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Egg white
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown mustard
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. dried sage
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut into 8 pieces and skinned
  • Wax Paper
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Olive oil non-stick spray

Place all ingredients, except the cornstarch and garnish, in the Crock-Pot; stir to combine

  • 3 lbs. Chicken-cut in parts-rinsed and pat dry
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter-softened
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth-defatted
  • 2 Cups Carrot-diced
  • 1 medium Onion-halved and slivered
  • 2 Tablespoons garlic-minced
  • 1 Tablespoon FRESH Tarragon--OR 1 tsp. Dried Tarragon
  • Salt and Pepper-to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 2 Tablespoons Parsley-to garnish
