Italian Casserole

Great for pot lucks
- 1-1/2 pounds bulk Italian sausage
- 1-1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 cans (15 ounces each) tomato sauce
- 2 cans (6 ounces each) tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 cans (8-3/4 ounces each) whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 cans (2-1/4 ounces each) sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 package (16 ounces) wide noodles, cooked and drained
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, cut into strips
Fiesta Side Salad

Flavors keep getting better the second day
- 2/3 Cup uncooked long grain rice
- 2 Cups frozen corn, thawed
- 1 15oz Can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 6 Green onions, sliced
- 1/4 Cup jarred jalapeno slices, chopped
- 1/4 Cup Canola oil
- 2 Tblsp Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tbls Lime Juice
- 1 teas Chili powder
- 1 teas Molasses
- 1/2 teas Salt
- 1/2 teas Cumin seeds, toasted and ground
Broccoli Delight Salad

Mix together in large bowl the broccoli, onion, raisins, cashews and bacon
- 1 - 3 Heads of Broccoli
- 1/2 medium red onion, chopped
- 1/2 Cup raisins
- 1 Cup Cashews (halves)
- 1 # bacon, cut up and fried crisp
- 1 Cup Mayo
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 2 teas. Vinegar
Cauliflower Soup

Saute the onions in butter and add the rest of the ingredients and cook until cauliflower is tender
- 1/4 cup Onion
- 1/4 cup Butter
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 3 cups Water
- 3 Chicken Bouillon Cubes
- 2 cups Milk
- 1 teas Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 cup grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 medium head Cauliflower
- May want to double this recipe.
York Peppermint Patties

This filling can go between my thin mints as well to make a full cookie
- 1 (14−ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 tablespoon peppermint extract
- green or red food coloring, optional
- 6 cups confectioners' sugar
- Additional confectioners' sugar
- 1 − 16 oz. bag semi−sweet chocolate chips
Holiday Poke Cake

Change the jello colors to match the holiday
- 2 baked 9-inch round white cake layers, cooled
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Brand Gelatin, any red flavor
- 1 pkg. (4 serving size) JELL-O Brand Lime Flavor Gelatin
- 1 (8 ounce) tub COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed
Peppermint Meltaways

“This recipe is very pretty and festive-looking on a cookie platter
- FROSTING:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 2 to 3 drops red food coloring, optional
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
- Nutrition Facts: 1 cookie equals 90 calories, 5 g fat (3 g saturated fat), 13 mg cholesterol, 36 mg sodium, 11 g carbohydrate, trace fiber, trace protein. Diabetic Exchanges: 1 fat, 1/2 starch.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 cup Coca
- 1 2/3 teas Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 teas Baking Powder
- 1 teas Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 teas Vanilla
- 1 cup boiling Water
- 1 (21 oz) can Cherry Pie Filling
- 1 4 oz) container Whipped Topping
Dog Food

- Boil together:
- 1 1/2 Cup boiled water
- 2 beef boullion cubes
- 2 regular carrots
- Mix in a bowl:
- 3 lbs ground Sirloin
- 1/4 Cup honey
- 1 Cup Wheat Germ
- 3 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Peanut Oil
- 3-4 handfuls cheese
- 1/4 teas liquid smoke
- Blend the following ingredients in blender until a powder:
- 2 Cups Iams
- 30 Brewer's yeast pills
- 20 vitamin pills
- 1/3 Cup oatmeal
- Add to meat mixture in bowl.
