Beefy Mexican Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 C chopped onion
  • 1/4 C chopped green pepper
  • 1 pkg Hamburger Helper Chili Tomato
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 540 ml whole tomatoes
  • 5 C water
  • 341 ml can whole kernel corn

Preparation

Step 1

In a large sausepan, cook and stir ground beef, onion and green paper. Drain off fat. Stir in sauce mix, chili powder, garlic salt and tomatoes /c liquid. Break up tomatoes /c a fork. Add water, heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat, cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for 10 mins. Stir in macaroni and corn. Return to boil. reduce heat, cover and cook 10 mins. longer. Stir occasionally.
