Turnip Puffs

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked turnip
  • 2 egg yolks (save the whites)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Dash of salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325F. Cook turnip and mash. Beat egg yolks and add to turnip. Add butter, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the turnip mixture. Put in casserole dish and bake until firm.
