Ingredients
- 4 pork loin chops (1" thick) well trimmed
- 2 medium apples peeled, cored and sliced
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
- salt and pepper
Preparation

Directions:
1. In skillet, brown pork chops quickly; drain well.
2. Arrange a layer of sliced apples in crockpot, then a layer of pork chops; repeat. Dot with butter; sprinkle with nutmeg. Add salt and pepper.
3. Cover and cook on low setting 6 to 8 hours.
