Krisha's Jewish Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 3 c flower
  • 1 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 c oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten fluffy
  • 1/3 c orange juice
  • 2 1/2 t baking powder
  • 2 1/2 t vanilla
  • 3 large apples, peeled and sliced thin
  • sugar and cinnamon mixture

Preparation

Step 1

Place all ingredients in large bowl (except apples) and beat until smooth.

Spread half of the batter in a buttered pan, cover with a layer of apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste, then cover with the remaining batter. Arrange rest of the apples in a neat layer on top. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Bake in 350 degree over for one hour or until done.
