CHEESY POTATOES

Ingredients

  • TOPPING:
  • 2 pounds potatoes (baked and cubed)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cups sour cream (1 pint)
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1-1/2 cups corn flakes (coarsely crushed)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Saute chopped onion in butter and mix in the rest of ingredients. Place in casserole dish, mix butter and corn flakes and top casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Depending on the depth of casserole dish it might take longer to cook. Just put a knife in the middle of it to check and see if it's hot all the way through.
