Classic Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 c. frozen peas
  • 1/3 c. cubed cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. chopped celery
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. diced pimentos
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped green pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni according to package directions, adding peas during the last two minutes of cooking. Drain and rinse in cold water.
In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir in macaroni and peas. chill until serving.
