MOMS SQUASH

Ingredients

  • 5-6 Yellow Squash
  • 1 1/2 stick butter
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1/4 t nutmeg
  • garlic
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • bread crumbs
  • pinch cinnamon
  • 1/2 C chopped mozzerella

Preparation

Step 1

Scrape squash, cut off ends, cut into chunks. Boil in salt water with garlic, then drain, leaving in a very small amount of water. Add 1 stick butter, salt and pepper, nutmeg, eggs, sour cream, cinnamon, mozzarella and some bread crumbs.
Mix and put in buttered baking dish, and dot top of casserole with 1/2 stick butter, chopped into pieces. Sprinkle with bread crumbs,
Bake 35 minutes.
