Ingredients
- Lentils
- 4 bay leaves
- Vinegar
- Smoked Ham
- Flour
- Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse lentils under tap water. Put lentils in a pot, fill pot with water, add some large chunks of smoked ham, bay leaves and boil until soft. When the lentils are soft take out the meat and set aside. In a small sauce pan put in 1 tbsp oil, add flour and let brown. Add this to the lentils to thicken the sauce, then add a small amount of vinegar (1 tsp). * Serve, lentils over noodles or pasta of any kind and eat the ham with them.
