Ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon tapioca
- 3 pints strawberries
- 1/2 lemon, juice of
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 crusts
Preparation
Step 1
Combine sugar, flour, and tapioca. Toss thoroughly with berries add lemon juice. Roll out half pastry into 9" pie pan. Spoon berries into pastry, making level. Dot with butter. Roll out remaining pastry. Cut into strips for lattice top. Place on foil covered cookie sheet. Bake 400 oven for 45 minutes. Cool before serving.
