Popcorn Balls

Ingredients

  • SYRUP INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 batches popcorn (un-popped kernels removed)
  • 1 cup unsalted peanuts (optional)
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup Karo Syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 cup butter or Fleischmann's margarine

Preparation

Step 1

In big bowl, add popcorn and peanuts. In heavy saucepan, bring syrup ingredients to boiling and then to soft ball stage.

Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup butter. Drizzle over popcorn and peanuts. Stir well to coat. Butter hands. Form into 28 small balls.
