Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Flank Steak or Top Round 1/4 cup Chicken stock
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 cup Mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 tbsp Sherry
- 1 Scallion (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 cup Bean Sprouts
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Garlic
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Ginger Hot cooked Rice
- 1 cup of Broccoli Flowerets
- 1 Carrot (thinly sliced)
- 2 green Peppers (cut in 1 inch squares)
Preparation
Step 1
Slice Meat across the grain into thin strips, combine in a bowl with cornstarch,Sherry and Soy Sauce. marinate for 15 mins.
Heat 1 tbsp oil and stir fry Garlic 1 min add Ginger.
Add Meat and stir-fry until it loses color.
Remove and set aside
Wash and dry pan.
Heat remaining oil.
Stir fry Broccoli,
Carrot and Green Pepper, until Broccoli is bright green.
Add Chicken stock, cover tight and cook 3 mins.
Add Mushrooms and Scallions.
Fry 1 min. stir in Bean Sprout.
Stir together Soy Sauce, Cornstarch and Chicken stock.
Add to pan with Meat.
Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Serve over hot Rice. About 4 servings.
