Salmon Filet with Soy Sauce Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1/4 c maple syrup
  • 1 salmon filet (with skin)

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Line broiler pan with foil. Place salmon skin side down on pan. Pat salmon dry.

Boil soy sauce and maple syrup in saucepan about 5 minutes. Brush salmon with glaze (reserving 1 1/2 T for later.) Let stand 5 minutes and brush salmon again. Roast salmon for 10 minutes. Turn on broiler, brush salmon with glaze and broil 3-5 minutes (until cooked through)

Transfer to platter and brush with reserved glaze.
