Date Cookies

These date cookies are so delicious! They are the perfect mixture of dates and nuts, and the lemon flavor gives them another layer of flavor that is so scrumptious.

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon lemon flavor
• 1 cup chopped dates
• 1 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and flavoring.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dates to dry mixture.

Mix the date and dry mixture with cream mixture

Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet

Bake 15 minutes at 350° F.

Makes 60 cookies.
