Garlic Grits

Ingredients

  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 tube of garlic cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten with a little milk
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted

Preparation

Step 1

Add grits and salt to boiling water. Cook according to directions. Add 1 stick of butter and the garlic cheese - stir until melted. Beat eggs in a cup and add enough milk to fill the cup. Add to grits. Pour mixture into a well greased casserole. Combine corn flakes and melted butter and spread over grits. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool 10 minutes before serving.
