Ingredients
- 4 C. chicken broth
- 4 C. peeled and cubed potatoes
- 1/4 C. minced onion
- 1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 8 oz. cream cheese, cut in chunks
Preparation
Step 1
Combine broth, potatoes, onion and spices.
Boil on medium until potatoes are tender.
Smash a few poatatoes to release starch for thickening.
Reduce to low heat.
Add cream cheese and stir until completely melted.
If desired-top with shredded cheddar cheese and bacon crumbles.
