Ingredients
- 8-10 Lemons (hand roll before squeezing) Make 1 1/2 cups juice
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups very hot water
- 1 Tbsp grated lemon peel
Preparation
Step 1
In 1 qt pitcher stir in the sugar, very hot water and grated lemon peel.
When sugar disolved, add the lemon juice. This mixture is now a concentrate.
To make each serving: Measure 1/4 cup lemon syrup. Pour over ice cubes in a 12 oz glass. Stir in 3/4 cup cold water.
