Ingredients
- 3 T. flour
- salt and pepper
- 3 lb. beef chuck cut into 1 in pieces
- 3 lg. carrots
- 1 med onion sliced
- 6 sliced. bacon cooked and crumbled
- 10 oz beef broth
- 2 c. red wine or burgundy
- 1 T. tomato Paste
- 2 clove garlic
- 3 springs fresh thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 lb. fresh mushrooms sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Coat been in flour seasoned with salt & pepper. Sear beef in skillet on stove top. Place meat in Crock Pot - add remaining ingredients, cover and cook 8 to 10 hours on low or 5-7 hours on High
can be served over egg noodles.
