Lemon cheese bars

Ingredients

  • 1 box Duncan Hines yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry cake mix with 1 egg and oil until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup. Press remaining lightly in an ungreased 13x9x2 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Slightly cool. Beat cheese, sugar, lemon juice, and 1 egg until light and smooth. Spread over baked layer and sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Bake 15 minutes and cool completely. Cut into bars.
