Ingredients
- 1 12 oz bag cranberries
- 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. balsamic vinegar
- 1 medium size pear, peeled, cored and diced
Preparation
Step 1
In a small saucepan over high heat, heat cranberries, sugar, vinegar and 1/2 cup water to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to low, simmer, uncovered, 8 minutes or till most of cranberries pop. Add diced pear, cover and cook 2 -3 minutes longer. Cover and refrigerate relish until well chilled, about 4 hours.
Makes 3 cups.
