Maple soy chicken thighs

you can use boneless thighs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c maple syrup
  • 1/4 c fresh orange juice
  • 2 T low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 T grated fresh ginger
  • 1 t dark sesame oil
  • 1/2 t crushed red pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 8 bone in skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 2 T sliced scallions

Preparation

Step 1

Combine first 7 ingredients in a small bowl
stir with a whisk
place mixture in a large zip loc bag
add chicken to bag
marinate in fridge for 1 hour
preheat oven to 375
remove chicken from bag reserving marinade
place marinade in small saucepan over medium high-bring to boil
cook until marinade reduces to 1/4 c
arrange chicken in single layer on foil lined baking sheet
baste w 2 T marinate and sprinkle evenly with salt
bake for 20 mins, turn baste and bake 15 mins more
