Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans of green beans, french or regular cut
- 8 strips bacon diced into pieces
- 1/2 C ketchup
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- small onion, diced (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Brown bacon and onion. When brown, add ketchup and sugar Simmer until dark brown, sugar will caramelize. Put the green beans in a baking dish with the water from one can of green beans. Pour the hot mixture over the beans.
Bake uncovered at 325o for 1 hour.
