Ingredients
- 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 8 0z. package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup 2 percent milk
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
Preparation
Step 1
Place sweet potatoes in a large saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Drain.
In a large bowl, mash potatoes. Add the cream cheese, milk, brown sugar, and seasonings. Beat until smooth. Top with pecans.
Serves 10.
