Whipped Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs potatoes
  • 3 1/2 cups milk warm (do not boil)
  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 1 TSP salt, pepper

Preparation

Step 1

peel and rinse potatoes

cut in fourths so they fit in ricer

let them sit in cold water for 1/2 hour to get starch out

drain and fill back up with water just a little over covering potatoes

boil until fork tender
