Ingredients
- 1 T. oil
- 4 pork chops
- 1/2 t. salt
- pepper
- 2 apples, peeled and sliced
- 4 T. brown sugar
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 3/4 c. hot water, apple juice or cider
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Heat oil in large skillet.
3. Sprinkle pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper brown in oil.
4. Place pork chops in a baking dish just large enough so they do not overlap.
5. Cover chops with apples.
6. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamn and water.
7. Pour over chops.
8. Cover and bake for 30-45 minutes.
9. Before serving, thicken sauce with cornstarch if desired.
