Grandpa Sears' recipe

Ingredients

• 1 loaf white bread--stale--- cubed
• 1 t salt
• 1 1/2 c celery, diced
• 1 medium onion, diced
• 3 T butter/turkey fat
• 2 T sage (or more)
• 1/4 c turkey stock/broth/water - optional, usually the turkey has enough moisture in it to not need this
• 1 egg
