Apple-Cinnamon Syrup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 C water
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 tsp. corn starch
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Bring brown sugar, water, butter, corn starch, and cinnamon to boil. Boil until thick, about 2 minutes. Stir in apples. Cook until tender, 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.
