Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

• Sweet potato mixture
• 6 large sweet potatoes
• 1/2 t of kosher salt
• 1 1/2 t of vanilla
• 1 stick of unsalted butter
• 1/2 cup orange juice
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 of granny smith apple peeled and sliced thin
• For the crust
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 cup chopped toffee pecans
• 1/4 cup butter
• mini marshmallows

Preparation

Step 1

Bake sweet potatoes. Scoop out and mash.Combine all the ingredients except the apple with potatoes and beat thoroughly. Fold in apples. Pour in baking dish coated with Bakers Joy.

Combine the crust ingredients except marshmallows and sprinkle on potato mixture.

Bake for 30 minutes at 350. Take out and sprinkle marshmallows and bake until bubbly and brown.
