Banana Pudding

Ingredients

• 3 large eggs separated
• 1 cup of sugar
• 3 T. of flour
• 3 cups of milk
• 1 t. vanilla
• 3 or 4 real ripe bananas
• Butter cookies

Preparation

Step 1

Mix egg yolks, sugar, flour and milk together
Cook in double boiler until slightly thick
Add vanilla
Slice and layer bananas and cookies
Pour custard over layer, and then add another layer of bananas and cookies, pouring remaining custard over layered bananas and cookies.

Beat egg whites until stiff

Add 2 T of sugar per egg and beat until right consistency is achieved

Pour over pudding mixture and brown in oven

(Note: I use the stone broiler unit.)
