Ingredients
- 2 cans whole water chestnuts
- 1 lb bacon, cut into thirds
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 6 T brown sugar
- 2 T vinegar
- 2 T prepared mustard
Preparation
Step 1
You might want to cut some of the chestnuts in half, and wrap each with bacon.
Spear with toothpick
Place on a rack in broiler at 350 degrees for 30 minutes
Remove from oven
Place into shallow casserole
Combine parts into sauce
Pour over chestnuts and bacon
Cook for 30 more minutes
