Ingredients
- 4 skinless, bone-in chicken breasts
- 1 large firm apple (Fuju/Granny Smith) sliced thin
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup unsweetened apple juice
- 1 tsp thyme
- salt & pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 deg. Place chicken, apples, onions in pan. Mix broth with apple juice, thyme, salt & pepper. Pour over chicken and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Baste every 20 minutes.
