Blueberry Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup to 1 pint blueberries
  • 1 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray loaf pan and dust with sugar. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Beat eggs and add milk and oil. Make a well in the center of dry ingredients, then add the egg mixture and combine. Mixture will be lumpy. Fold in blueberries and walnuts. Pour into loaf pan and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 55 minutes until top is brown. Cool completely before slicing.
