Ingredients
- Meat Sauce - prefer "Homemade Meat Sauce", but 2 jars of any sauce with 1 lb browned meat and onions will work
- 1 bx Oven-ready Lasagna noodles (no boiling required)
- 1 15oz container Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cups grated Mozzarella
Preparation
Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 375
In bowl, combine 2 cups mozz and Parmesan cheese. Stir well.
Spray 9X13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Pour one cup sauce in bottom of dish and spread evenly.
Top with 3 sheets of pasta - they will expand while cooking. Pour 1 cup of sauce and 3/4 cup of cheese mixture over noodles. Top with some remaining mozz cheese. Continue layers till pan is full - up to 3 more layers.
Top with 3 final pasta sheets - pour sauce on top (don't leave any dry edges exposed) and sprinkle with cheese
** Add broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and / or zucchini to one of the layers for some fresh veggies
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes
Remove foil and bake another 5 min to brown the cheese.
Let stand for 15 min before cutting.
