Cranberry Appetizer Meatballs

Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 can (16 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
  • 1 T. brown sugar
  • 1 T. prepared mustard
  • 1 T. lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the first 9 ingredients. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 1-in balls. Place in an ungreased 15x10" baking pan. Bake, uncovered, at 450 for 8-10 mins. or until no longer pink. Transfer with a slotted spoon to a slow cooker or chafing dish. Combine sauce ingredients in a saucepan; simmer for 10 mins., stirring occasionally. Pour over meatballs. Serve warm.
