Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 2 tsp of grated lime zest
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 cups strawberries (about 2 lbs)
- 3 cups of mangoes (2 to 3 large mangoes)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine sugar and 1/3 cup of water in pan and bring to boil over high heat, stirring occasionally.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until sugar dissolved, about 3 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in lime zest and juice, let cool to room temperature.
4. Mix strawberries and mangoes in a large bowl.
5. Add syrup and stir until well mixed. Refridgerate at least 30 minutes
