Ingredients
- 2 cups strawberries, crushed
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 package powdered pectin
- 1 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
1. Sort and wash berries. Remove caps and stems; crush berries.
2. Place berries in bowl and add sugar; mix well. Let stand 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Dissolve pectin in water and boil for 1 minute. Add pectin to berry-sugar mixture; stir for 2 minutes. Pour jam into freezer containers leaving 1/2" space at top. Cover containers and let stand at room temperature for 24 hours or until set. Store in refrigerator.
