Ingredients
- 3 lbs pork loin
- 1/2 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Fuji or similar apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 t. cumin
- 2 t. Allspice
- pinch of sea salt
- pinch of pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Mix apple cider vinegar, water, and spices. Place meat in a resealable bag and add the cider mixture. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Place the meat and marinade in a baking dish. Add the rest of the ingredients, cover with a lid or foil, and bake at 325 F for 2 hours.
You can also add all ingredients to a crock pot and cook on low for 5 or 6 hours.
