Ingredients

  • 3

    lbs pork loin

  • 1/2

    yellow onion, sliced

  • 2

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 3

    Fuji or similar apples, cored and sliced

  • 1/4

    cup apple cider vinegar

  • 1/2

    cup water

  • 2

    t. cumin

  • 2

    t. Allspice

  • pinch of sea salt

  • pinch of pepper

Directions

Mix apple cider vinegar, water, and spices. Place meat in a resealable bag and add the cider mixture. Marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Place the meat and marinade in a baking dish. Add the rest of the ingredients, cover with a lid or foil, and bake at 325 F for 2 hours. You can also add all ingredients to a crock pot and cook on low for 5 or 6 hours.
