Ingredients
- 4 pork loain chops
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 baby carrots, with tops
- 1 medium apples, seeded and sliced crosswise
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
Preparation
Step 1
sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. In large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chops. Cook 2 minutes per side. reduce heat to medium low. Add carrots apples and syrup. Cover and simmer 8 minutes or under chops are about 145 degrees. Using slotted spoon, remove chops, carrots and apples to warmed platter.
Bring syrup mixture to boil; boil until thickened, about 2 minutes. Pour over chops and enjoy
