Cabbage Roll Casserole

Easier than cabbage rolls with all of the flavour.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 C chopped onion
  • 29 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 3 1/2 lbs chopped cabbage
  • 1 C uncooked white rice
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 tetra-pak beef broth

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In large skillet, brown beef over medium heat until redness is gone. Drain off the fat.

In large mixing bowl, combine onion, tomato sauce, cabbage, uncooked rice, and salt. Add meat and mix all together.

Pour mixture into large baking dish. Pour broth over mixture. Bake, covered, for one hour. Stir, replace cover, and bake an additional 30 minutes.
