Griddled Pumpkin Bread (Liberty Tree Tavern)

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsps baking soda
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 TBS water
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin

Preparation

Step 1

Blend dry ingredients together. Blend all wet ingredients together. Slowly add wet to dry ingredients. Portion into 4 oz "biscuits." Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. If toothpick comes out dry, "Bread" is done.
