CABBAGE SOUP ( Kirk Tite )

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 3 ) 1 large onion chopped
  • 5 ) 2 1/2 cups water
  • 6 ) 4 beef bouillon cubes
  • 7 ) 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 8 ) 1 small can tomato sauce (6 oz.)
  • 9 ) 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 10 ) 2 1/2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 11 ) 2 ribs celery, sliced thin
  • 12 ) 1/8 cup vinegar
  • 13 ) 1/8 cup sugar
  • 15 ) 1/2 head cabbage, shredded
  • 16 ) 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 17 ) 1/4 cup butter
  • 18 ) 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Cook gound beef with onion until done. Drain grease. Add all other ingredients and stir. Simmer for about 1 hour. Stirring occasionally until done.
