Berry Sauce

A sweet topping for pancakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 C berries
  • 1/2 C water
  • 1/3 C sugar
  • 4 t cornstarch

Preparation

Step 1

1. Crush 3/4 C berries, add water. Cook over medium heat 2 minutes. Put through sieve for smooth texture.

2. In saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in sieved berries. Bring to a boil, stir constantly. Cook til thickened and clear. Cool to room temperature.
