Ingredients

  • 1 TSP OLIVE OIL ( OR COOKING SPRAY)
  • 1 MEDIUM BUTTERNUT SQUASH (ABOUT 2 LB)
  • PEELED, SEEDED, AND DICED
  • 1/4 LB HAMBURGER, SAUSAGE, OR ANY MEAT OF YOUR CHOICE(COOKED)
  • 1/2 MEDIUM RED ONION, SLICED
  • 1 1B PIZZA DOUGH
  • 1 8 0Z BALL MOZARELLA, CUBED
  • 1/4 FINELY GRATED PARMESAN
  • SAUCE OF YOUR CHOICE (OR BALSAMIC VINEGAR)

Preparation

Step 1

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES

LIGHTLY COAT A ROASTING PAN OR HEAVY BAKING SHEET WITH OIL OR COKKING SPRAY, THEN SCATTER WITH SQUASH AND RED ONION. ROAST ABOUT 25 MINUTES, TOSSING INGREDIENTS AROUND ONCE OR TWICE SO THEY BROWN EVENLY ON ALL SIDES. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND INCREASE TEMPERATURE TO HIGHEST SETTING, USUALLY 500 TO 550 DEGREES.


SPRINKLE A LARGE BAKING SHEET LIGHTLY WITH FLOUR OR COOKING SPRAY
STRETCH DOUGH ROUGHLY OVER BAKING SHEED; NO NEED TO FORM A PERFECT RECTANGLE. ADD SAUCE.SCRAPE ROASTED VEGETABLE AND MEAT MIXTURE OVER DOUGH. SCATTER WITH MOZZRELLA AND PARMESAN. BAKE UNTIL BROWNED ABOUT 15 MINUTES.
