HOMEMADE TOMATO CATSUP ( Vickie Unterbrink )

Ingredients

  • 1 ) 30 tomatoes, peeled
  • 2 ) 6 onions, chopped
  • 3 ) 3 cups sugar
  • 4 ) 1 pint white vinegar
  • 5 ) 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 ) 1 teaspoon cloves, chopped
  • 7 ) salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 ) 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 9 ) 1 1/2 chopped green pepper

Preparation

Step 1


First wash and sterilize your fruit jars. Put flat lid for jars on stove on low to sterilize and so jars will seal. Add all ingredients in large pan on stove. Boil for 30 minutes. Fill jars up to 1/2 inch from top. Put lids and rings on jars and close tightly. Set aside with 2-3 inches of space between jars and let cool.
