  • 8 SLICES FRENCH BREAD 1/2 INCH THICK
  • NONSTICK COOKING SPRAY
  • 2 TBSP GRATED PARMESAN CHEESE
  • 1 TBSP OLIVE OIL
  • 3/4 LB BEEF SIRLOIN
  • 1 SMALL ONION SLICED
  • 1 TSP MINCED GARLIC
  • 1 1/2 CUPS FROZEN BELL PEPPER AND ONION STIR FRY
  • 2 TBSP WATER
  • 2 TSP CORNSTARCH
  • 1 TSP WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

Preparation

Step 1

PLACE BREAD SLICES ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET. SPRAY BREAD WITH NONSTICK SPRAY SPRINKLE WITH PARMESAN CHEESE. BROIL 4-6 INCH FROM HEAT FOR 1-2 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED. SET ASIDE. HEAT OIL IN LARGE SKILLET OVER MEDIUM HEAT. ADD BEEF, ONION, AND GARLIC,COOK 3-4 MINUTES OR UNTIL BEEF IS BROWNED. ADD BELL PEPPER AND ONION STIR FRY COOK 2-3 MINUTES OR UNTIL CRISP TENDER. IN A SMALL BOWL, COMBINE WATER, CORNSTARCH, AND WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE, BLEND WELL. ADD TO BEEF MIXTURE, COOK AND STIR UNTIL SLIGHTLY THICKENED. TOP BEEF MIXTURE ON TOP OF BREAD.
