Spicy Baked Flour or Corn Tortillia Chips

Very easy homemade chips which can be served along with soups, salads, or your favorite Mexican dishes.

Ingredients

  • spices of your choice: salt or seasoned salt, chili powder, packet of mild taco seasoning, cinnamon sugar, etc.
  • vegetable oil (or spray)
  • 10 -12 flour or corn tortillas

Preparation

Step 1

Cut tortillas into 8 wedges.

Brush or spray baking sheet with oil.

Arrange tortilla wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet and brush or spray lightly with oil.

Sprinkle with seasonings of your choice: salt or seasoned salt, chili powder, packet of mild taco seasoning, cinnamon sugar, etc.

Bake at 325 until crisp and lightly browned, approximately 10 minutes.
