Pear butter

Ingredients

  • 40-50 medium to small pears
  • 1 1/2 C sugar
  • 2 t cinnamon
  • 1/4 t ground cloves

Preparation

Step 1

Peel, core, chop and puree pears.

Blend pear puree with the sugar and spices in a crockpot/slow cooker.

Cook uncovered on high stirring occasionally until reduced by half.

Can or freeze until needed.
