Glazed Lemon Cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon zest
  • 2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • Lemon Glaze

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt and Lemon zest in electric mixer.

Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add egg, vanilla and lemon juice.

Beat until combined on low. Beat in flour mixture.

Drop Dough by heaping tablespoon. 1 inch apart onto two baking sheets. Bake until edges are golden. 15 to 20 minutes.

Rotate sheets halfway through.

Cool 2 minutes on sheets.

Cool completely before glazing.

Lemon Glaze.
Whisk 2 cups icing sugar, 2 Tbsp Lemon zest and 1/3 Cup of Lemon juice until smooth.
